#WomenWhoWin Campaign Targeting Women of Under Armour
By: Zonaira Lone
After familiarizing myself with Under
Armour’s brand and the
campaigns they’ve
successfully ran, I’ve
decided to pitch #WomenWhoWin, which would be a campaign targeting only women
that are athletic, but also take part in multiple other roles in life like
being a mother, business woman, wife, sister, daughter, homemaker, etc. The #WomenWhoWin
campaign will focus on embracing the women who do whatever it takes to be
winners. Whether they’re
grinding every day to provide for their family, working hard to reach their
goals to get that promotion, or training harder than ever to become the best
athlete of our time, at the end of the day they still win at everything they do
because of the different roles they take on in their lives.
The social media outlets I will promote on
will be Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, which are the current platforms Under
Armour uses to promote their campaigns. My goal for the #WomenWhoWin campaign is
to reach an average of at least 90K likes on Facebook ads, about 600 retweets
on Twitter and 7K views on YouTube.
I would say the ideal launch time for this
campaign would be International Women’s Day because it would allow people to embrace the women surrounding
them in their lives and truly appreciate all that they do. Women all around the
world can share their stories using the campaign hashtag #WomenWhoWin to share
what makes them a winner in their life.
The main goal of this campaign is to get
the women to engage with Under Armour by using the hashtag #WomenwWhoWin or send a
short 1 minute video on the website explaining their story of how they handle
all their roles as women and still manage to live a healthy active lifestyle.
At the end of the campaign, Under Armour will create a campaign video combining
all users’ tweets and
video clips to acknowledge all the hardworking women in our lives.
