Just like their Facebook page, Reebok’s Twitter page is also very colourful and fun to look at. Reebok’s twitter posts at least 2-4 times a day. They have a variety of different content that they post and it ranges from talking about different events, promoting their athlete brand ambassadors, sharing fitness tips, Crossfit sports news, and motivational posts as well.  Most of their posts are attached with pictures and they share some info-graphics and short videos sometimes as well. Reebok definitely uses the 50/50 rule on twitter as well, they post about different events, sports, fitness tips and celebratory days as well as promote their own merchandise and web-store. Some of the key hashtags that Reebok uses are #HonourYourDays, #RunThroughYourDay, and #BeMoreHuman.


The most successful recent tweet by Reebok is a short 50-second video that shoes how much time there is in an average life and what types of fitness feats can be accomplished during that time. The post has 239 retweets, 334 likes and 27 replies. This post is successful because it is pinned to the twitter page, the video is motivational, is extremely well produced, edited and shot. The video is also short enough to engage followers.

Asics on average posts at least 8-9 times a day on their twitter account. The content they post varies from motivational posts, promoting their athlete brand ambassadors, web-store promos, new releases, sports news, fitness tips and events that they are sponsoring. The content they post follows the 50/50 rule because they promote their products and other interesting things regarding the industry and workout culture. Some of the important recent hashtags they have used are #WeRunJune1, and #BeatTheSun.
The most successful recent tweet was regarding a global running day contest, which incorporates the hashtag #WeRunJune1. It encourages people to share their own photos for global running day for a chance to win free running shoes. The post had 39 retweets, 74 likes and 37 replies. This post is successful because it promotes consumer generated content, has a strong call to action and is also an easy contest for participants to enter.
