YouTube is such an important channel for companies to
display their brand on because of the amount of user that are on it everyday.
Adidas and Puma both do a great job at connecting with the audience through
their content on YouTube.
Now lets compare the brands and see which one is more
successful on this Social Media Platform!
Adidas has 365,527 subscribers since they joined in 2005. In
the description you won’t find much info on the brand except for their house
rules and links to all their social media accounts and website. The kind of
video content that Adidas displays is a collection of videos regarding specific
topics such as: #speedtakes, How to
Create and other collaborations. The Adidas page is very well organized
with their playlists.
The most successful recent video on Adidas’ Page is Karlie
Kloss’ – Here to Create Video. I
believe it is most successful because she is a supermodel who talks about her
life and how staying fit is super important to her. It’s motivating and more so
a day in the life of Karlie Kloss. Her
video has over 5 Million views with 4,597 likes!

In comparison, Puma has 155,304 subscribers since they
joined in 2005 as well. In their description they talk about how the company
was founded and what type of products they sell and their mission to get their
athletes to set goal and break them while looking good doing it. They also
provide links to all their social media links as well as their website. Puma’s
videos are regarding their collaborations such as FentyxRihanna, training videos, The Arsenals Jerseys, they also use the Hashtag #CHOOSEPOWER. All their videos are also
under specific playlists so you can easily find what you are looking for.
The most successful recent video on Puma’s page is
#CHOOSETRICKS and Play Loud – it is a very quick paced video, there is a lot
going on which keeps the viewer interested till the last second. This video has
close to 2 Million views with 734 likes.
